Leahy is the author of Novitas Mundi: Perception of the History of Being, Foundation: Matter the Body Itself, and Faith and Philosophy: The Historical Impact. He is formerly Research Consultant to the Skin Sciences Institute, Children's Hospital Research Foundation, University of Cincinnati. He was tenured in Classics and has taught Religious Studies at New York University, and for four years prior to founding The New York Philosophy Corporation was Distinguished Visiting Professor of Philosophy at Loyola College in Maryland. In his published works Leahy traces the essential history of thought from the ancients through the medieval period into modern times. His constructive work is the articulation for the first time of an essentially new form of thought. The essence of this new way of thinking is to be completely beyond the absolute self-consciousness of modernity. Two course formats are available: Distance Learning: Live Interactive Audio-Conference Classes and New York Metropolitan Area In-person Classes. In addition to regularly scheduled class meetings, both types of study provide access to a 24/7 online class discussion board in which the instructor participates. Individuals are invited to apply for admission to scheduled courses. Groups with particular study interests can request a course in an area of study not currently included in the course offerings or not currently scheduled.
